Jesus Christ from Nazareth

A man who left an incredible legacy, one whose supposed birth year became the dating system for most of the world.
At the time of his death his followers deserted him and yet there have been millions through history that have based their lives on him and his teachings.
A man who claimed to be God's Son and who was raised from the dead.
Here are some articles which hopefully shed more light upon this amazing person:

Turin Shroud and Sudarium of Oviedo

Dead body covered with a shroud.

The Turin Shroud has been kept in Turin, Italy since 1578.
For centuries it has been surrounded in controversy, many believe that it was the cloth that was wrapped around the body of Jesus of Nazareth, after he had been crucified, others disagree…

Jesus the King Part 1

Pilot speaks to the crowd pointing to Jesus.

Pontius Pilate, the fifth Prefect of the Roman province of Judea from AD 26–36, would have heard the rumours.
Some reckoned that this man was the King of the Jews!
This despised man just didn’t fit Pilate’s idea of a king.
Where were the royal robes, where were his court officials?
Where was his army?
But Jesus answered Pilate: “My Kingdom is not of this world.

Jesus the King Part 2 Hate without reason

Cavalry charging into battle.

We see from the second Psalm, a war going on, and the battle field is the Earth.
Basically, this huge mass of people, including nations, and rulers, are rebelling against the Lord and His Anointed One – that is Jesus Christ.
They are opposing the Kingdom…

Acceptable worship – Jesus the High Priest Part 2

Jewish Priest offering a sacrifice.

Can our worship ever be acceptable to God? Let’s look at how Jesus makes our weak efforts into beautiful, acceptable worship.
The earthly High Priest of the Old Testament is a picture for us to understand the reality of worship now…

How the justice of God was satisfied

Judges and barristers walking to their cases.

Could God ignore mankind wanting to go their own way?
Could God just declare a “Not guilty” verdict over the human race?
That would be like all the Judges in the courts, saying: “You are guilty, but I’ll pretend you’re not, so you are free to leave!”.
It would not be lawful, to let the guilty go free…

Jesus the Prayer Warrior Part 3

The High Priest in the Jewish Temple in his very colourful garments.

I think you will be amazed at when and how Jesus prays and also the results.
In Hebrews it tells us that Jesus is able to save completely those who come to God through Him.
And Jesus said to Simon Peter: “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail.”…

Haim Cohn – Jewish view of Jesus Christ

The book entitled The trial and Death of Jesus.

Haim Cohn was past Chief-Justice of the Israeli Supreme Court and author of The trial and Death of Jesus, has raised a number of inconsistencies with what should have happened at that time with the Jewish jury system…

[2] Jesus myth or true stories?

People listening to Jesus Christ

Was Jesus myth exaggerated or were the writers of the Gospels eyewitnesses? They wrote 10 to 40 years after Jesus′ death. Jesus’ enemies couldn’t deny His miracles, so they said…
