A red Teddy bear.I had seen the group name Delirious cropping up at events, but hadn’t actually seen them, so last year I bought their Farewell Show CD (Live in London).

The song means a lot to me because it lifted me at a very low time in my life.
My wife and I were in a situation where we were being falsely accused of things and aggression was being aimed at us.

The following Psalm seemed to identify with our situation:

“O God, whom I praise, do not turn a deaf ear to me.
Wicked and deceitful people have opened their mouths against me.
They speak against me with lying tongues.
They surround me with hateful words.
They fight against me for no reason.
In return for my love, they accuse me, but I pray for them.
They reward me with evil instead of good and with hatred instead of love.” Psalms 109:1-5 (GW)

What made this situation worse was that all this was coming from a Christian leader.
We felt betrayed and totally numb.
I remember feeling so dead inside and I wasn’t going out much but the words spoke to me.
