Death and Life after Death. RE Resources

Death is not spoken about and is hushed over, but it is inevitable at some point, so we should be able to talk about it.

1. Teacher’s background information.

Is death a doorway or the end?
There are 3 types of people, those who:

  • Vaguely believe that somehow people live beyond death and are looking down on us now.
  • Say that death is the end, that nothing exists beyond that point.
  • Believe by faith that God creates a life after death.

Who should we ask and who has the authority to know about such things?
Christians believe that Jesus came from heaven, so he knew what he was talking about.

Also, the Bible clearly shows what happens after death.
Here the children will look at the tricky subject of death and life after death.
