Resources:

Organise a visitor to come to the school:
Look up where the local churches are, go to Find a Church (which opens in a new tab) and ask for a volunteer (preferably not the Minister, Vicar, or Church leader) to answer questions on:

“How is your Christian faith expressed through action in the community” and send them the ‘Sheet of Questions’.

Print out: Questions to ask Christian visitor at school for KS2 lesson

Starter:

Get the children to ask the visitor the questions on the sheet in an informal way.

Plenary:

If appropriate finish the session with these two questions for the children to answer:

Q. How important are values to you and other people?

Discuss

Q. What could people work out about your beliefs from observing your behaviour?

Either take a short time to discuss this, or leave it with them.
