Revivals and manifestations of the Holy Spirit

The subject of the Holy Spirit and any manifestations of the Holy Spirit can cause confusion and divisions.
Whenever problematic, spiritual situations arise we need to seek out what the Bible says.

Sometimes in Christian services and meetings there have been long sessions of laughing, shrieking, shaking and falling over. Can these things be questioned, or is it criticising the Holy Spirit?

2. Manifestations of the Spirit

The Toronto Blessing caused a huge stir within churches around the world, with people laughing, shrieking, shaking, falling over, etc.
Some believe it is genuine manifestations of the Holy Spirit, while others believe it to be false.
We need to see what the Bible teaches us about the Holy Spirit.
